Requirements for home owners to appoint a PSDP on house building projects

Under the Safety Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulation 2013, home owners (now a client under the 2013 Regulations) must appoint a Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP) when carrying out building works in their home, when the work is expected to last more than 30 working days or 500 person days, if there is more than one contractor on site, or if there is a particular risk to life safety in doing the work.

If you are unsure if a PSDP is required for your project, please contact us. We’d be glad to help.
